Indications for Use:
Phenazone ointment is used to treat inflammatory conditions, particularly in the following cases:

Arthritis
Tendonitis
Articular and muscular rheumatism
Mastitis
Inflammatory complications resulting from injuries, trauma, and various microbial infections
Properties:
Phenylbutazone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and antipyretic properties. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which play a role in pain, inflammation, and fever. The primary metabolite, oxyphenylbutazone, has similar pharmacological properties.

Contraindications:
Phenylbutazone has a narrow therapeutic index.
Do not exceed the prescribed dosage or duration of treatment.
Do not use in animals with heart, liver, or kidney disease, as there is a risk of ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, blood disorders, or hypersensitivity to the product.
Do not administer other NSAIDs concurrently or within 24 hours of each other.
Dosage and Administration:
For external use only.

Dogs and Horses:
After cleaning the skin, gently massage the cream into the affected area.
Application can be repeated 2 to 3 times daily until the inflammatory condition resolves.
Storage:
Keep in a tightly closed container at a temperature below 25°C.
