DESCRIPTION:
A broad-spectrum oral anthelmintic combining Albendazole and Levamisole HCl, supported with key trace minerals (Cu, Zn, Se, Co) to aid immune and metabolic recovery after parasitic stress.
This dual-action formula effectively eliminates mature and immature gastrointestinal and lungworms, as well as tapeworms and adult liver flukes in cattle and sheep. Opti-Gent Spray helps control and reduce local bacterial infections sensitive to gentamicin, including: Gram-positive species (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp.) and Gram-negative species (E. coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Moraxella, etc.). It is particularly useful for bovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink-eye) caused by Moraxella bovis, as well as superficial wounds, cuts, abrasions, and umbilical infections.
INDICATIONS:
Indicated for the treatment and prevention of susceptible gastrointestinal and lungworm infestations, and for the removal of adult liver flukes and tapeworms in cattle and sheep.
Cattle: Effective against Ostertagia (Teladorsagia), Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Bunostomum, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Cooperia, and Strongyloides spp., including inhibited larvae. Also active against lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), tapeworms (Moniezia spp.), and adult liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica).
Sheep: Active against Teladorsagia (Ostertagia), Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus (including N. battus), Chabertia, and Oesophagostomum spp., including inhibited larvae, as well as lungworms (Dictyocaulus filaria), tapeworms (Moniezia spp.), and adult liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica).
Albendazole also exhibits ovidical properties, reducing the viability of fluke and nematode eggs to reduce reinfestation and pasture contamination.
The trace mineral blend aids post-treatment recovery, immune defense and system restoration.
