TROMEZIN is a water-soluble antibiotic powder formulated for veterinary use. It is designed to treat and control respiratory and gastrointestinal infections in poultry, rabbits, calves, and ruminants. With a balanced and effective composition, it targets harmful bacteria and promotes recovery.
Composition
- Sulfamethoxypyridazine: 200,000 mg
- Tetracycline hydrochloride: 110,000 mg
- Trimethoprim glutamate: 60,000 mg
- Bromhexine hydrochloride: 1,300 mg
Indications
- Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sacculitis in poultry.
- Bacterial pneumonia, bronchitis, and gastrointestinal infections in calves.
- Mixed bacterial infections caused by Mycoplasma spp., E. coli, Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Haemophilus spp.
- Bromhexine enhances mucus clearance, improves respiratory secretion thinning, and increases antibiotic penetration at infection sites.
Dosage & Administration
- Rabbits, Broilers & Layers: 1 g per 1 liter of drinking water daily for 3 – 5 consecutive days.
- Calves: 1 g per 10 kg body weight in milk or water, once or twice daily for 3 – 5 days.
- Young ruminants (non-functional rumen): 1 g per 10 kg body weight in milk replacer or water for 3 – 5 days.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat: Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days after the last treatment.
- Milk: Do not use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
- Eggs: Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
Storage
Store in the original container, in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
